Be blessed and FABULOUS!
Part of being FABULOUS is accepting the truth about yourself-the good and the bad. To accept the truth you have to be honest. I was doing my taxes and I looked at what they said I made versus what I saved and I was appalled. I was appalled because I had not saved or invested not nearly as much as I should have. I was listening to a cd by Lynn Richardson author of Living Check to Monday and she too convicted me in my spirit. Here is my truth-I AM A SPENDER! The realization is that if I don't get that under control I will never live in abundance. I became conscious of my spending. A lot of us are walking around unconscious about more than our finances but to be FABULOUS you have to wake up. There is a saying that "Money talks but it will also walk away from you quietly." That's what my money did. It quietly went to McDonalds, Chipotle, Ross and a whole host of foolishness. Where does your money go? I will be posting frequently about my financial journey because I want to encourage you to walk in your truth, purpose and of course fabulosity!
Be blessed and FABULOUS!
There is a saying that says, "When life gives you lemons make lemonade". I recently was up for an awesome opportunity and ultimately did not get it. I was upset and I wondered what could I have done differently to land the opportunity. At the end of the day, my answer was nothing. I did my absolute best. Knowing that took some of the sting out of the rejection but it still hurt. I have a rule: when something dissapointing happens I won't dwell on it. I have an adult time out and I deal with the emotions but for a limited time. I allow myself time and then I shake it off(pray). Sometimes we allow ouselves to dwell on the negative too long. When you dwell on the negative you often miss the blessings that were meant to come from it. When you dwell on the negative it makes you fearful and God has not given us a spirit of fear. So after having my adult time out I got my life and now I am working on a FABULOUS event for women (more news coming soon on that). So remember when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Be blessed and fabulous!
